Ma Boyles Alehouse & Eatery Review

AD gifted meal

When an email landed to visit Ma Boyles Alehouse and Eatery along with three of my best gal pals, it was a sure thing. Tucked away off The Strand and just behind Water Street, Ma Boyles is a great spot to visit whether you want food or just drinks.

Veggie options

The menu at Ma Boyles is small but mighty but there’s something for everyone whether you eat meat, veggie or vegan.

To start we went for the sharing nachos between four of us. The portion sizes were perfect and sometimes nachos can be an easy way for restaurants to throw a starter together, but these nachos were delicious and very moreish!

For my main I opted for the halloumi fajitas. I think there were about three veggie options on the menu, but like I said its a small menu covering all dietary requirements so that’s absolutely fine!

Ma Boyles also have a bottomless brunch option and with an outdoor seating area too, its a great spot if you just fancy drinks. I had the gin fizz, pink Gordon’s, prosecco and I think soda water which was delicious and then an aperol spritz – it’s the season!

Lastly, I have to roundup by mentioning this very tasty, uber chocolately oreo cheesecake! The presentation really took us by surprise but it was delicious. Definitely order one if you go!
